Super Saturday

I got to go to our wards Super Saturday today. It was a fun little activity. We made snowman kits. Basically, it's wood pieces that we painted so that when when we want to build snowmen we can put the eyes, nose, mouth, buttons, scarf, and hat on them. You can kind of get the idea from the picture.

Of course, what Super Saturday, or LDS home for that matter, would be complete without a giant tile with a popular scripture quote written on it? The answer is none. So, that was my next little project. I think that I'm going to find a way to hang it on the wall. Usually I see them on plate decorative plate holders displayed on tables, but I know that you can hang plates on walls, so I think this should work too. Wow, it's the almost the same color as my carpet.

Way to go Idaho! I can see from the snowman that you are much more artsy than I am. . . and definitely able to center things better ala the tile:) Glad you were able to get out and do some fun projects! Hope all is well.

Awesome job! Are you coming here at all for the holidays? If so, I want to hang out! :)

I enjoy making stuff, but I hate storing it. I swear the average Mormon woman must have boxes upon boxes of holiday themed decorations.
