I'm a big fan of specialty toy stores. I love Toys R Us too, but I tend to buy most of my toys and the specialty shops, I think they have WAY cooler toys.

Here we have the Children's Store, which I love. They have this cat that is always at the store and her name is Willow. Last week they had a Birthday party for the cat complete with all the appropriate festivities such as face painting, sparkle tattoos, clowns that make balloon shapes, and cupcakes.

The kids loved it.

We are going through a big Hello Kitty stage here at our house, oh, and unicorns. I think this Christmas will be remembered as

"The year of the Unicorn"

In case you were wondering, I know you were, that is a unicorn in her hand.

We thought that this was an...interesting toy.
