Today John and Jeff spent ALL day setting up our new playground. I'm SO excited. The girls are going to LOVE it. The temp was around 100 degrees today, so they were sweating like crazy. Neither Jeff nor I thought about putting sunscreen on Jeff until it was way too late. Hopefully he won't be too miserable over the next few days.

Right now we have Renee, John, Jordyn, her friend Dusty, and my sister Bethany all staying with us. Until yesterday we had Chad, Elisa, and Eden with us also. Jordyn has a tennis tournament here this weekend, so that's why they are here. Chad and Elisa flew out from here to Seattle yesterday. The kids and I are going up to Washington for a few weeks and my sister is going to drive with us, so that's why she is here.

We went to Bear Lake last week with the Parry's. The kids had a blast going swimming and playing in the sand. They really like to be with their little cousin Eden. It's fun for me to see how they can actually be really nice with her. I think that because Sophia is so close in age to Jane, she was and is, not always very nurturing with her. (But they are really great friends.) It's just different to see her with a baby. Different in a good way.

There is a really good beach at the lake that has a bunch of sand. I brought some sand toys with us and they girls spent some time each day down there playing. The water was really nice too. The incline of the ground once you get into the water is really gradual, so you can go out really far and the water isn't very deep. I really liked it. Sophia is really good about "swimming" around with her life jacket on, so she would go out with me and doggy paddle around. Both of the girls took a spin on the jet skis with Jeff. I think that Jane actually like it better than Sophia did. She seems like she might be a little braver than Sophia is.
