The beginning of the end; actually, I hope not

So, this is our first post on a blog. Hopefully it won't be our last. Maybe we can be better at keeping this updated then we have been with our photo site. Plus, this way we can combine to two of them together. I need to have Jeff show me how to do that though because I'm pretty computer illiterate, all I really know how to do it type papers, email, and buy things. So, let's get down to business.

Lately, Sophia is getting into some movies. She likes "Sleeping Beauty" right now. She has a Disney book with that story in it and she is fascinated by the dragon. She also wants to watch the movie and see the part with the dragon. But it's like a bad car accident where it's so horrifying for her that she wants to look away, but she can't seem to bring herself to turn her head.

She seems to like it here in Boise, I'm not sure she can tell the difference since she is so little. There are some really nice parks here that we frequent. She is starting to be able to anticipate things. Earlier this week, Jane had a doctors appointment, (turns out it was fifths disease), and on our way into the office I told Sophia that later that day after her nap, we could go to the park and play on the playground. When we got into the exam room Sophia exclaimed to the nurse, "I'm going to the park today, after my nap." I was impressed because first, that was a big sentence for her, and second, that she seemed to understand and anticipate. Well, anticipate she did. I put her down for her nap like usual, and the little turkey never fell asleep. She was in there forever singing to herself about the park, la la la. I guess I have to be more careful about that.
